  • CORPIN, supported by Rothschild, acted as the exclusive financial advisor to Enern, Miton and shareholders on the sale of Slevomat group to the UK-based group Secret Escapes Ltd., representing the third largest e-commerce transaction in the Czech Republic. Secret Escapes has become the 100% shareholder of the Czech Slevomat.cz, Slovak Zlavomat.sk and Czech deals aggregator Skrz.cz.
  • Slevomat was established in 2010 by Tomáš Čupr together with Romana Sudová and Petr Bartoš. Investment group Miton subsequently entered the company, followed by Enern group and In-Bridge in 2011. Slevomat group has undergone a turbulent growth since 2010, from the roots inspired by US servers providing group deals to today’s business model offering inspiration and experiences in travel, entertainment, personal services and specialty goods. The group provided experiences and services in the value of almost CZK2bn in 2016 and daily visits counted between 200 and 300 thousand users.
  • The sale process was led by CORPIN as a highly competitive, international and multistage tender which ensured price maximalisation and facilitation of contractual terms negotiation. An important component of the success was also represented by providing so-called Vendor Due Diligence reports to pre-selected bidders before non-binding bids as well as by a high quality management presentation.
  • Secret Escapes is one of leading global online sellers of luxury travel which offers to its members exclusive rates in selected luxury hotels. The group was founded in 2011 in Great Britain and at the time of the transaction was present on 21 markets in Europe, North America and Asia. Many significant investors, including Google Ventures, Index Ventures and many others, have invested into Secret Escapes.
